  • Biography

Megan Piersma is the Director of Experiential Learning in the Mendoza College of Business. She serves as a thought leader for the College on experiential learning and leads the team charged with creating and delivering transformational learning opportunities for Mendoza's undergraduate and graduate students that challenge them to apply what they've learned in the classroom, demonstrate what they are capable of, and create a vision for their future.

Prior to her time at Notre Dame, Megan spent 18 years at the University of Michigan holding roles in Admissions, Development, and Experiential Education. All of her roles have leveraged her professional skills in the areas of strategic planning, program development and management, continuous improvement, and strategic partnerships. Megan has a demonstrated record of success with 1) launching, managing, and scaling new, sustainable academic and co-curricular programs; 2) assembling, structuring, and leading highly effective cross-functional teams, and 3) empowering individuals, teams, and organizations to reach their full potential. Her passion for students and their continued professional and personal development is what drives her work every day.

Megan earned a Master of Education, Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Calvin University.
