Mia Simmons-Yi

Mia Simmons-Yi is a Ph.D. student in Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship and Graduate Dean's Fellow, specializing in organizational theory, activism and social movements, and strategic decision-making. Broadly, she is interested in how external actors and institutional change influence decision making within organizations. Mia received an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Chicago and a B.B.A. in Organization & Management from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. Previously, she worked as a Pre-Doc Research Coordinator at the Wharton School, a Research Assistant at the Chicago Booth School of Business, and a Management Consultant at Deloitte.
