Michael Newberry

Mike Newberry is the Associate Director of Graduate Business Career Development for the Mendoza College of Business. In this position, Mike serves as a career coach to full time MBA students pursuing careers in consulting and strategy, as well as partners with the MBA Consulting Club, faculty, alumni and employers on career opportunities for MBA students.

Mike has 20+ years of combined multi-industry experience between strategy, operational and technology consulting (including practice leadership) and industry senior finance leadership roles as a divisional CFO / VP Finance for large global companies.

Mike earned his BBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Iowa and completed his MBA at Mendoza in Finance and Strategy.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife Robin and three children (Kate, Connor, and Owen).
