Gabriel Pündrich, professor of accountancy at the University of Florida, will deliver a talk on his research. Pündrich received his PhD in Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2014. His research interests include auditing, disclosure to financial markets, corporate governance, conservatism, international accounting standards, event studies, and extractive industries. Pündrich applies advanced data analytics techniques such as artificial intelligence/machine learning and natural language processing to help answer relevant accounting questions.
