At Mendoza, experiential learning is integral to your business education. Our practicum offers hands-on engagement with nonprofits, covering diverse projects like social media management and grant writing. In the Spring, students dive deep into Grow Irish Week , opting for either a nonprofit career immersion in a metropolitan city or on-campus activities focused on nonprofit career readiness.

You can experience so much in a single year—especially at Notre Dame.

As a student in a residential Notre Dame graduate degree program, you’ll find yourself in the heart of one of the most distinctive campus experiences in the country. Be sure to take advantage of all that the Notre Dame student experience has to offer by:

  • Participation in various student-led campus-wide project.
  • Serving through the Center for Social Concerns  (nearly 90 percent of Notre Dame students participate in service learning).
  • Attending IDEA Week, an innovation festival created by Notre Dame’s IDEA Center that hosts business, technology and entertainment events (past speakers and artists have included Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh, Daymond John of ABC’s Shark Tank, and the Chainsmokers).
  • Playing Bookstore Basketball, lighting a candle at the Grotto, rubbing Knute Rockne’s Nose at the Rock—no matter what your interest, there is a Notre Dame campus tradition for you.

Admission

The MNA program is tailored for individuals with bachelor’s degrees in non-business disciplines. Notre Dame undergraduates from Mendoza are not eligible to apply. However, economics majors and business minors with 18 or fewer credit hours in business courses are welcome to apply. Business undergraduates from other institutions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Early Action Deadline
    Applying in the Early Action round automatically qualifies you for an interview, demonstrating your commitment to Notre Dame’s MNA program. For subsequent rounds, interviews are by invitation only. The Early Action round, though non-binding, is tailored for applicants who are sincerely dedicated and eager about joining our community. Interviews for this round will be conducted from August to September on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • International Applicants
    International candidates are strongly encouraged to apply by January 7, 2025, to allow time for visa paperwork and processing.

Tuition & Aid

Tuition for the 2024-2025 Master of Nonprofit Administration program is $43,768.

All qualified candidates, regardless of citizenship, have the opportunity to receive merit-based scholarships. The Admissions Committee will assess your application and determine the scholarships simultaneously. To be considered, please ensure you complete the scholarship section of the application before submission.
