The Accountancy Chairman’s Award

Presented to an Accountancy senior for outstanding service to the Department of Accountancy.

The William G. Barth Award

Presented to an Accountancy senior for superior service to the College, University and/or community.

The Wittenbach & Milani Award

Previously the James Dincolo Award

Presented to the students in the Department of Accountancy for outstanding service to the department, programs, and community.

The Hamilton Award for Accountancy

Presented to the Accountancy senior with the highest overall cumulative grade point average. Founded by Robert L. Hamilton, University of Notre Dame class of 1934.

The Peter Brady Award

Presented to an Accountancy senior with outstanding academic performance and one of the highest grade point averages. Established in honor of past faculty member Peter Brady.

The Tara K. Deutsch Award

Presented to a senior in the Department of Accountancy for exemplary social consciousness and devotion to efforts to give hope to the less fortunate.

The Accountancy Faculty Award

Presented to an outstanding senior in the Department of Accountancy.

The Brother Cyprian, C.S.C. Award

Presented to graduating Accountancy seniors in recognition of academic achievement. The awards are granted in honor of Holy Cross Brother Cyprian O’Hare (“Brother Zip”), who helped launch Notre Dame’s Accountancy program in 1895 and later served as department chair.

The Elmer Layden Award

Presented to graduating Accountancy seniors in recognition of academic achievement. These awards are funded by the Elmer Layden Jr. Endowed Fund and given to graduating seniors withthe highest cumulative grade point averages.
