Two Years. Two Degrees.
Students who pursue the STEM-designated MBA/M.S. in Business Analytics path will earn two degrees in two years from the Mendoza College of Business. These two degrees will prepare you for a wide range of careers in an increasingly data-fueled workplace.
Beginning in 2021, the Notre Dame MBA will have five STEM-designated concentrations, including the business analytics concentration. For those students who are interested in earning two degrees in two years, you will have two options for learning the business analytics and leadership skills to prepare you to face today’s urgent business challenges and succeed in growing the good in business.

What You’ll Learn: MBA/MSBA Course of Study
Students who pursue the MBA/M.S. in Business Analytics Dual Degree will earn a master’s level understanding of business analytics and the skills to propel your career as a leader in today’s business world.
The MSBA curriculum provides a set of courses around tools and technologies and a set of courses around business analytics applications and skills. Additional coursework and immersions focus on the context of how analytics is used in business organizations.
During the MBA curriculum, you will participate in the leadership development sequence to prepare you to lead teams and organizations dedicated to growing the good in business. You will learn or refresh your fundamental business knowledge, and dive deep into a specialty with one of nine concentrations.
If you choose to pursue this path, you will have two options to earn two degrees in two years.
- Start in summer 2021 with the One-Year MBA cohort.
- In fall 2021, transition to the full-time M.S. in Business Analytics program and participate in the MBA leadership development sequence for the entire 2021-22 academic year.
- In summer 2022, you will pursue a summer internship based on your career goals.
- In fall 2022, you will rejoin the MBA cohort and graduate in spring 2023.
- Start in fall 2021 with the full-time M.S. in Business Analytics program and participate in the MBA leadership development sequence.
- In summer 2022, you will participate in the One-Year MBA summer program.
- In fall 2022, you will remain a part of the MBA cohort and graduate in spring 2023.
Application deadlines for the dual degree program are the same as traditional MBA deadlines.

- Early Decision
Early Decision candidates are expected to withdraw their candidacy from other schools, and will provide a non-refundable $4,000 deposit upon admission to Notre Dame.
- International Applicants
International candidates are strongly encouraged to apply by February 23 to allow time for VISA paperwork and processing.
