The One-Year MBA program is an accelerated program for those already building a career in business. It’s an engaging and intense year at Notre Dame that builds upon your education and prepares you to ask more of business and yourself.
Most students who enroll in the One-Year MBA come to us with a business background and are looking to accelerate a career already in progress. They bring around five years of experience and unique perspectives that enrich your classroom experience — men and women from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

While you’re earning the One-Year MBA and advancing your career, you’ll still have time to get the full Notre Dame student experience.

What You’ll Learn:
MBA Course of Study
The intensive 9-week summer term serves to refresh your knowledge of business fundamentals before joining the second year of the Two-Year MBA program.
We teach the skills you need to propel your career as a leader in business. From business analytics, marketing management, and financial accounting, you’ll learn to solve complex business problems with integrity while applying best practices in a team environment.
Apply what you’ve learned in the mid-semester Interterm Intensive, a weeklong course that allows you to broaden your expertise or study abroad.

The One-Year MBA program accepts applications in rounds. Students applying to the One-Year MBA are required to have completed prerequisites in Financial Accounting and Statistics.

Early Decision candidates are expected to withdraw their candidacy from other schools and provide a non-refundable $4,000 deposit. - International Applicants
International candidates are strongly encouraged to submit the application and all supporting credentials by February 1, to allow time for VISA paperwork and processing.

On-Campus Interview
Throughout the year, the Admissions team offers Information sessions, formal admissions interviews and special events on campus regardless of where you are in the admissions process. Learn more about the different options available!
Off-Campus Events and Interviews
Applying this year? Take advantage of an off-campus interview to meet with a member of the Admissions Committee in person. This interview will be added to your application before it is reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Off-campus interviews are typically offered in September through January. Check back for additional availability throughout the fall and winter.
