The One-Year MBA program is an accelerated program for those already building a career in business. It’s an engaging and intense year at Notre Dame that builds upon your education and prepares you to grow the good in business. During your time in the One-Year MBA, you can focus your studies in one of five different majors, three of which are STEM-designated.
Most students who enroll in the One-Year MBA come to us with a business background and are looking to accelerate a career already in progress. They bring around five years of experience and unique perspectives that enrich your classroom experience — men and women from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

What You’ll Learn:
MBA Course of Study
Notre Dame’s accelerated One-Year MBA is designed for those business professionals with a career already in progress who want to build upon their education and skills, and grow the good in business.
Your program will begin with a nine-week summer term to refresh your business fundamentals before joining the second year of the Two-Year MBA program.
Throughout your time in the Notre Dame MBA, you’ll participate in our leadership development sequence and have significant opportunities to hone your skills in experiential learning environments.
You’ll select a major and pursue a curriculum relevant to your personal and professional goals. Three of the five MBA majors are STEM-designated, providing you the tools necessary to lead in a data-fueled world. For international students, these STEM-designated options provide an additional two years of optional practical training (OPT) to work in the U.S. after graduation.
Many Notre Dame MBA students pursue roles in finance, consulting, technology or marketing. With access to a broad range of courses, experiential learning and extracurricular opportunities, you’ll develop the skills you need to be prepared for today’s complex business world.

Admission
The One-Year Notre Dame MBA program is offering a GMAT/GRE test waiver for the 2022-2023 recruiting cycle. Prospective students can find answers to questions in this FAQ.
Students applying to the One-Year MBA are required to have completed prerequisite courses in Financial Accounting and Statistics.
