Global EMBA Course of Study
The Global Executive MBA curriculum integrates multiple focus areas, equipping you with new frameworks and strategies for addressing longstanding business challenges, responding to emerging trends, and seizing new opportunities. Each stage in the program reinforces the three cornerstones of leadership, business fundamentals, and strategic thinking.
-
- Step One: Leadership and Self-Awareness
Your journey begins with the Now Irish orientation week in August, where you’ll participate in Executive Integral Leadership (EIL). This one-week intensive focuses on self-awareness and leadership development, providing you with a deep understanding of your strengths and how to maximize your effectiveness as a leader. Throughout the program, EIL principles will be woven into your learning experience, allowing you to continuously refine and evolve your leadership approach. - Step Two: Core Coursework
Following the orientation, the curriculum transitions into core coursework that emphasizes essential skills such as Awareness, Decision-Making, Integration, and Advanced Business Analysis. This stage lays the groundwork for applying strategic thinking in diverse business contexts and prepares you for the global immersions ahead. - Step Three: Global Foundations
In the fall, you will engage in your first global immersion in Europe, where you will explore the business landscape, cultural nuances, and operational strategies of leading organizations. This experience builds a robust foundation in global business principles and cross-cultural leadership, enabling you to navigate international markets effectively. - Step Four: Global Integration
The second global immersion takes you to Asia, where you will apply your foundational knowledge to integrate complex global strategies and practices. Through hands-on projects and immersive experiences, you will synthesize your learning, fostering a comprehensive understanding of global business dynamics and developing effective strategies for leading multinational organizations. - Step Five: Global Impact
Your journey culminates with the Global Capstone during the final immersion in South America in the spring of your second year. This experience allows you to tackle a complex business challenge alongside a global partner, synthesizing the skills and insights you’ve gained throughout the program. You’ll apply strategic insights and demonstrate the impact of your decisions within a broader international framework, positioning yourself as a leader capable of driving meaningful change.
- Step One: Leadership and Self-Awareness
By the end of the program, you will emerge as a strategic leader with a holistic view of yourself and a comprehensive understanding of global business, ready to make a significant impact within your organization and beyond.
