Specialized Master's Programs

MSA Scholarships

The M.S. in Accountancy program at the University of Notre Dame is one of the nation’s premier master’s programs. We are blessed with applicants who have been successful in their undergraduate studies, have demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities, and who possess outstanding personal characteristics. We cherish the individual contributions made by each student to the overall experience of our entire class, whether inside or outside the classroom.

Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, work and internship experience, honors, performance on standardized tests, leadership potential, letters of recommendation, and each applicant’s personal statement.

Once the M.S. in Accountancy program receives a completed application, decisions regarding admission and scholarship will be made on a rolling basis. The average scholarship granted in recent years was $16,000 - $17,000 with several exceeding $30,000.

YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM

The University of Notre Dame is pleased to be participating in the new GI Bill known as the Yellow Ribbon Program. The legislation enacted by Congress authorized significant benefits to eligible US military veterans with honorable discharges who served on active duty after September 11, 2001, for at least 36 months.

The M.S. in Accountancy program will cover $4,000 of tuition and mandatory fees required to be paid by all students for attendance. This amount will be credited towards the qualifying student’s tuition account and distributed equally between the two semesters of the program. If the eligible veteran does receive Yellow Ribbon scholarship assistance, the Veterans Administration will match the University’s award dollar for dollar up to a combination of benefits and scholarships not to exceed the total of tuition and mandatory fees.

Questions regarding the eligibility of a veteran for Yellow Ribbon benefits should be directed to VA regional office in Indianapolis (317-916-3684) or to the veterans VA regional office in his/her home state of residence. You'll find more information regarding the University of Notre Dame’s participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program on our Veteran Affairs webpage.
