Ford ousts top exec over ‘inappropriate behavior’

Joe Holt, associate teaching professor in Mendoza College of Business, was interviewed for an Associated Press piece on Ford Motor Co.’s decision to fire North American President Raj Nair following allegations of inappropriate behavior. 

“When inappropriate behavior is tolerated or exceptions are made for star employees, then leadership is not clear, credible or consistent in its upholding of professed values, and that invites well-founded employee cynicism,” he said.
