A video crew sent by the Fox Business Channel recently visited the University of Notre Dame as part of a fall tour of college campuses. During the weekend of Sept. 12 – the Notre Dame-Michigan football game weekend – video reporters created a number of short videos featuring University events and organizations, including the Mendoza College of Business.
The reporters were from Palestra.net, a network of student reporters who partner with Fox News and Fox Business Channel to produce videos about various schools.
In one video about the College, Dean Carolyn Woo discusses the values-driven mission that sets the Mendoza education apart from other programs. Another video profiled MedXCycle, a medical supply recycling business that won the 2008 Social Venture Business Plan Competition. Others featured stories about sales at the bookstore, team preparation for the game and local entertainment at Fiddler’s Hearth.
