On April 9, the Mendoza College of Business hosted a networking
event for its alumni at the conference center in the New York Times Building by
Times Square. More than 100 alumni attended in order to meet fellow alumni and
to reconnect with staff from the College.
Roger Huang, recently named as the Martin J. Gillen Dean of
Mendoza College, provided an update on the future of the College and discussed
how our alumni can continue to stay in touch with the College.
“The message of the new dean was important for alumni to
hear,” said Matt Shane (ND MBA ’08). “The
night provided attendees not only the opportunity to see the inside of the New
York Times building, but also to learn about Dean Huang’s background and hear
how the Mendoza College is looking to develop its global impact while
maintaining its founding values. He also spoke about developing the alumni
reach within the business community to provide opportunities for current
students and graduates.”
The College will continue to go on the road later in the
spring. On June 6, Graduate Alumni Relations will be hosting a reception in San
Francisco at the Paragon
Restaurant. Dean Huang will be in attendance at this event to discuss his
vision for the College. Visit the San Francisco event registration
page to register. Pre-registration is required.
