Make plans to attend 2013 Mendoza tailgates!

The 2012 football season was one of the most exciting in
recent memory for the Fighting Irish. And 2013 promises to be just as
action-packed, as the Fighting Irish look to build on their trip to the
National Championship game.

At Mendoza, the College is gearing up for another exciting
year with three pre-game tailgates to be held in the Atrium and Courtyard. The
dates are as follows:

September 21 (Michigan State)

·       
October 19 (USC)

·       
November 2 (Navy)

“The Graduate Alumni Tailgates are a great opportunity to
come back to Mendoza, meet former classmates and professors, and enjoy some
great camaraderie before heading into the stadium for another great football
game,” said Tim Ponisciak, director of Graduate Alumni Relations. “We hope to
see many of our alumni back on campus this fall!”

Admission is $5 per person, with children 5 and under able
to attend free of charge. Each tailgate starts three hours before game time and
ends one hour before kickoff.

Online registration is currently open, and will remain open until end of day
Wednesday the week of each tailgate. Walk-up registrations are $10 per person.

Last year, each tailgate averaged 800 attendees. That
translates to 728 hamburgers, 600 brats, 42 veggie burgers, 144 gallons of
baked beans and 1,600 cookies.

Rain or shine, the tailgates are a great tradition to
include in your pre-game plans!
