Notre Dame names new academic advancement director for Mendoza College of Business

The University of Notre Dame’s Division of University Relations has announced Natalie Sargent as the new academic advancement director for the Mendoza College of Business, effective Aug. 5. In this position, Sargent will be responsible for managing philanthropic efforts on Mendoza’s behalf.

headshot of Natalie Sargent“We are excited to welcome Natalie to the development team as academic advancement director for the Mendoza College of Business,” said Lou Nanni, vice president for University Relations. “Natalie has built meaningful relationships and gained important experience in her various roles at Notre Dame, all while pursuing her Ph.D. with energy and rigor. She now brings this background to bear in the important role of driving philanthropy to Mendoza by connecting donors and fundraisers to the College’s ambitions.”

Sargent earned her undergraduate degree from Smith College and will soon complete her Ph.D. in history at Notre Dame. Concurrent with the pursuit of her doctoral degree, she has served in several professional roles at the University since 2015, including an academic advancement internship and serving as a fellowship consultant and interim assistant program director with the Notre Dame Graduate School’s Office of Grants and Fellowships.
