April 7, 2019Notre Dame Undergrad Team takes second place at the Rice Business Plan CompetitionResonado, which aims to redefine the shape of sound with its patented Flat Core Speaker Technology, won the $300,000 GOOSE Society Investment Prize and the $125,000 Finger Interests, Anderson Family Fund, Greg Novak and Tracy Druce Second-Place Investment Prize. The 19-year-old Rice Business Plan Competition, with 42 teams from around the globe and $2.9 million in cash and prizes, is the largest and richest in the world.

McGraw will no longer hire male assistant coaches. “All these millions of girls that play sports across the country, we're teaching them great things about life skills, but wouldn't it be great if we could teach them to watch how women lead?" said McGraw.

April 3, 2019New minor emphasizes interdisciplinary aspect of real estateThe Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate recently launched an interdisciplinary minor in real estate, which is open to all undergraduate students. “The minor is 15 credits, with an introductory course, three electives of three credits each in a variety of different areas … and the last three credits of the minor are these industry engaging colloquia,” Eugenio Acosta, program director of the Institute for Real Estate, said.

March 29, 2019Four new minors intended to expand access to business educationTo broaden the access to undergraduate business education at the University of Notre Dame, the leadership of the Mendoza College of Business is launching four new minors for the 2019-2020 academic year. Two are intended for non-business majors and two can be taken by any Notre Dame undergraduate, including business majors.
