South Bend family reunited via satellite

There was a tearful reunion Wednesday morning for a South Bend family.
Lieutenant Colonel Susan Soisson is overseas, serving in Kuwait as a logistics officer in the US
Army.
She has been separated from her husband Tom and their four kids since June 2006.
Wednesday morning, on the Today Show, as part of a magnificent mom’s segment, Susan was
reunited with her family via satellite.
Soisson said, “Hey guys! Happy Mother’s Day to me, a little early I guess.”
Soisson is currently on military leave from the University of Notre Dame.
She was home for a 2 week visit over Christmas.
Susan is expected to be home for good this summer, hopefully before her youngest daughter’s 11th birthday on July 26th.
