To stem opioid crisis, investment coalition pressures supply chain

Management professor Rev. Oliver Williams, C.S.C., was interviewed for a National Catholic Reporter story about Investors for Opioid Accountability, a secular-sacred coalition that calls for corporate governance reform at pharmaceutical companies in order to address the opioid epidemic.
“The real value of this endeavor is increasing public awareness and putting pressure on companies to do the right thing,” agrees Fr. Oliver Williams, a Congregation of Holy Cross priest and associate professor at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and an expert in business ethics.
